Biggs Symposium in Classics, Residency Reunion

Classics has, for each of the last 28 years, hosted a Biggs Family Resident in Classics.  Each resident has visited our campus for a week in the spring, presented a colloquium, a seminar, and a large public lecture, and spent time with students and faculty in the Classics Department and beyond.  To mark the exceptional contribution this Residency has made for nearly thirty years, we have decided to host a reunion of as many surviving residents as we can gather together, and 17 of them have accepted our invitation to participate in a symposium April 11-13, 2018.  This group includes some of the world’s leading Classical Archaeologists.

This event is free and open to the public.
