In an international symposium devoted to new research on Henri Matisse, held at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia October 14-15, Professor John Klein delivered a paper on the ontological fluidity of Matisse's paper cut-outs entitled "Ultimate Method or Ultimate Materials?"
