PhD candidate Hoyon Mephokee is one of six graduate students selected for the Center for the Humanities Graduate Student Fellowship. He will be in residence at the Center in Spring 2026, working on his dissertation “On the Hunt for the White Elephant: Visualizing and Materializing Siam in the French Colonial Imaginary, 1861–1900."
