Professor Childs consulted on an exhibition, and contributed to a catalogue of the show "Mata Hoata: Arts et Société aux îles Marquises." Her essay is entitled "Te Fenua Enata dans le regard de l'avant-garde parisienne: les Marquises et Paul Gauguin." The exhibition was at the Musée du Quai Branly from April through July, 2016.
